Suñol: No hay excusa estando en una agencia y una ciudad como esta para no divertirse trabajando
For ALMA’s CCO, Álvar Suñol the agency is going through a great moment. He explained that creativity at ALMA burst three years ago and they have continued performing very well after winning many awards in recent festivals for their Narcos’ pieces for Netflix. “Agencies have their moments, there are no good or bad agencies. Agencies have their moments due to a series of circumstances that come together and happen. And this agency is going through one of these great moments” he said. “I believe this has a lot to do with the city of Miami, which is getting more sophisticated, art is becoming part of urban life, and all this creates an energy that draws talent. I talk a lot about this with the guys and tell them that there’s no excuse for us not having fun working in an agency and in a city like these.” Suñol highlighted that, obviously, new technologies are synonym of innovation, but innovation has not always to do with new technologies. “For us we are an innovative agency and we don’t have any idea winning so many awards that has technology in its heart” he added. With Cannes so near, he explained that despite that these are the advertising Oscars and winning there means something important, his team is cool. Regardless of the festival outcome, they know that they are doing a great job and are having fun doing it.
