With its Dorado campaign created for client McDonald’s, the alma agency was declared winner of the Grand Prize in the Hispanic category at the 2021 ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards. The in-person ceremony was held on the night of Monday, Oct. 25, as part of the Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Conference. “Congratulations to everyone involved, and thanks to the judges for this incredible honor that Hispanic marketing is now celebrating. So let’s celebrate it!” the agency messaged on LinkedIn. The song Dorado is another collaboration of Colombian superstar singer J Balvin with McDonald’s, and hails the unquenchable optimism of the Latino community. Alma created the video along with Colin Tilley, director of all the singer’s videos for his album Colores.
