At the recent 2014 Miami Addy Awards, held last March 12, the multicultural agency Alma came off as the biggest prizewinner of the night with a total of s-i-x-t-y Addys and two Best of Show in the Print and Broadcast categories. The agency took gold and silver for nine different clients in diverse categories, including Digital, Press, Television, Social Media and more.Best of Show awards went to Alma in the Broadcast Non-English category for the McDonalds HACER campaign and in the General Market Print category for the creation of Iceberg for Tobacco Free Florida. The agency took home a total of 31 gold medals and 29 silver, the biggest haul in the history of the Miami Addys.Being the most awarded agency two years in a row is truly humbling and a great recognition for our entire team, said Luis Miguel Messianu, Alma president and chief creative officer. Cant think of a better way to continue celebrating our 20-year anniversary.Among the campaigns that took gold were State Farms Fan Pass 2 and Abuela, Crickets Lets Talk Again, McDonalds HACER and Surrounded by Flavor, Tobacco Free Floridas Quit Season, Cost of Smoking, Anthill and Iceberg, Hola Mexico Australia, Glads Ms. Onion and Mr. Fish, and Cloroxs Hold on Tight, LOL and Flush Flush.The diversity of the categories in which we won demonstrates our overall creative strength, said Isaac Mizrahi, senior VP and managing director of Alma.
