Estiz: El mercado hispano acapara la atención de otros mercados
Personal Music was awarded by the America Society of composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in the best original Music category for its Netflix miniseries Dueños del paraíso (Masters of paradise). PRODU talked to Alexis Estiz Personal Musics Co-Owner & Head Composer about this award that will be presented on Wednesday 11th. “Fortunately in Personal Music we try not to stand still, we like to be a little uncomfortable and look for more. Apart from advertising we are also focused in other and new formats” he said regarding their work with Netflix. Everything is based on a lot of effort, work and always trying to do something to feel proud, said Estiz regarding key elements he uses for spot scoring. “Composing music is like creating an idea. I try to use all musical resources to find the message.” He added that in musical pieces, both music and creativity coexist, and “when both are in harmony and are good, theyll stand out and reinforce each other. Thats a touch down.” For Estiz the Hispanic market gathers the attention of other markets but still theres a lot to do and improve. The Street Music Library project of ALMA took a long time and was filled with details, he explained. “From getting out to the streets to find musical talent in each corner, to build sessions in Personal Musics studio. The outcome is a spectacular musical library thats being used in different countries, spots, films and documentaries.”
