Quevedo: En los materiales producidos no se utilizaron actores sino jóvenes que forman parte de YoungLife
Aldo Quevedo, creative director of the Hispanic agency Richards/Lerma, discussed with PRODU the campaign created for Young Life, a non-profit organization operating in more than 70 countries offering young people spiritual values through a variety of activities that keep them away from street gangs, drugs and other kinds of trouble. The non-profits latest campaign, developed by Richards/Lerma, promoted the regional soccer tourney Young Life Cup. It basically invited young Latinos in the U.S. to take part in a great event that would make them proud while providing a break from their everyday routine. Two ads, social media projects and radio commercials were developed for the campaign urging young people to take part in the tourney. Here at the agency we feel so good when our work can help people who really need it, and which can get such great results as the Young Life Cup has had. Besides, we have a lot of fun in the process. What more can we ask? Quevedo said.According to the creative, the event was a great success, with some 400 times more teams signed up than were originally expected. Were very pleased with the results and were now working on the next project for Young Life he said.
