At its quarterly board meeting in New York City, AHAA announced its new executive committee, with Aldo Quevedo, principal and creative director of Richards/Lerma, taking over as chair, a post previously held by Roberto Orci, president and CEO of Acento Advertising.Quevedo will work closely with the board, the advisory council of AHAA and Executive Director Horacio Gavilan, in order to continue devising and applying promotional and strategic moves designed to boost companies investment in Hispanic and multicultural marketing.The last three years have shown enormous growth for AHAA our most successful conference to date, our membership expansion to include all marketing disciplines, the establishment of our advisory board, and breaking research linking Hispanic investment to corporate revenue said Quevedo. I look forward to continuing this forward momentum and leading our board of directors in implementing our strategic plan.Quevedo will lead AHAA, the voice of Hispanic marketing, for two years together with Chair-elect Linda Lane Gonzalez, president of VIVA Partnership, Treasurer Gabriela Alcantara-Diaz, president of G ADMarketing Communications, and Secretary Carlos Santiago, president and CEO of Santiago Solutions Group. In addition, Borja Perez, senior VP of digital social media for Telemundo Media, has joined the board to help achieve AHAAs goals.
