Uría: Dirigir proyectos de índole humana ha sido una suerte impresionante
The Spanish Director, Albert Uría, Founder of the production house Garage Films shared with PRODU his most recent projects and expectations. The company opened 2016 with new additions to its directors’ roster, a new office in Mexico City called Garage Cine, and a unit dedicated exclusively to content and entertainment. “Work hard, play hard and be happy, has become our years motto” he said. One of their 2016 projects is a worldwide launch campaign for the new Seat car. “Im lucky to have in my hands other directing actors projects, one with a powerful social message, with comedy, and another of a car which challenge is to send emotions using visual storytelling. And cinema, lots of it” he said. Now he is developing a feature film. “It’s an amazing story -I suspect controversial- based on actual events. 2016 looks promising and keeps me awake at night” he said. 2015 was also filled with joy and good projects, according to Uría, like the Fiat Live Life Alive spot. “As a genre, life style has become one of my passions. Leading human projects as the short documentary filmed in Indonesia was incredibly lucky. This project arose from my documentary shoot in U.S. I was also thrilled that India called me to film its annual spot for their football league including all their celebrities” he said.
