AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Market gave State Farm the award of Marketer of the Year 2016, which is given to companies that prove commitment with the multicultural market and an important investment, proportional to the opportunity that marketing efforts aimed at Hispanics represent. “State Farm is the best Hispanic investor in its class and its total market strategy captivated all the hearts of the Hispanic families in the U.S., with its creative and emotional advertising campaigns” said the President of AHAA, Linda Lane González, who is President of Viva Partnership. State Farm is the main investor in Hispanic advertising in the category of financial and insurance services, and according to AHAA, in 2014 assigned 22% (US$109 million) of their advertising budget to efforts aimed at Hispanics.Leif Roll, Marketing VP, State Farm, will receive the award in the 2016 AHAA Annual Conference on April 20th in the Nobu Eden Roc Resort in Miami. Luis Miguel Messianu, President and CEO of ALMA will join Roll to talk about the successful commitment the brand has had with Hispanics for 20 years and what is necessary to maintain relevance in a changing market.Roll said he felt honored with the award and added: “We have seen great growth of our Hispanic consumers who want to be prepared for what life offers and we are proud to have connected with so many families and earned their trust.”
