With renowned stars from the entertainment business and advertising leaders, ADCOLOR starts on Monday, September 18 –until September 19— in Los Angeles, the 11th edition of its annual event that celebrates and promotes professionals of color and diversity in the creative industries. The stars invited include Snoop Dogg, Don Lemon, Janet Mock, Aisha Tyler, Jesse Williams and Ellen Pompeo from the series Grey’s Anatomy, Wilson Cruz from Star Trek: Discovery, Lena Waithe from Master of None and Rutina Wesley from Queen Sugar. Corporate leaders who will attend include Bozoma Saint John from Uber, Ted Royer from Droga5, Sarah Kate Ellis from GLAAD and John Seifert, CEO from Ogilvy & Mather. The event honors not only those who excel in their own careers but also give back to the community and support their peers. ADCOLOR’s goal is to create a rich network of diverse professionals that encourage and celebrate one another. The awards will be delivered Tuesday, September 19th, and presented by GSD&M and Omnicom Group. ADCOLOR partnered with Twitter – in collaboration with Droga5- to create a personalized emoji for the event that will be available from September 11 to 26. It is a multicolored heart that will appear when the #ADCOLOR hashtag is used and a pencil that will appear when using the #ADCOLORFutures hashtag.
