La agencia alquiló vallas rodantes con el mensaje: Querida Apple, por favor llámalo iPhone 7. Sinceramente, 6S marketing
The marketing agency located in New York has launched a clever campaign in which they request the Cupertino company to skip the name of the iPhone 6S and go straight to the iPhone 7. The reason? Simple: the name of the agency is 6S Marketing.6S Marketing hopes to convince Apple to change the name of their next iOS device, the iPhone 6S to iPhone 7. The company has written an open letter to Apple and has rented several mobile and stationary billboards -one in Times Square- to express: “Dear Apple, please call it iPhone 7. Sincerely, 6S Marketing”. 6S marketing has also placed a very special hashtag on its billboards, #WeAre6S, which they use to “highlight our unique and fun company culture”. In the letter, published on its website, 6S Marketing continues saying that the company has heard rumors that the next generation iPhone will be named iPhone 6S and urges Apple to “reconsider”. Then, they went on to give details of the agency´s long story, which began in an apartment in the year 2000, when “we were still using Motorola flip phones”, and explain that the choice of the name 6S was because it sounds like “success”.
