Los millenials hispanos no están dejando sus conexiones culturales y las tradiciones latinas
Approximately 25 percent of adult Hispanics in the United States identify themselves as Hispanics or Latinos, while 51 percent feel a greater sense of belonging with their familys country of origin, according to a survey taken by the Pew Hispanic Center. Some 21 percent consider themselves American and classify themselves as such.Those interviewed expressed a strong connection with the Spanish language. More than eight out of ten Latino adults 82 percent say they speak Spanish, and 95 percent agree it is important that future generations continue to speak it. When asked which term they prefer, Hispanic or Latino, 51 percent said it makes no difference, while 33 percent said Hispanic and 14 percent Latino. The survey also discovered that Hispanics are divided in how much they identify with other Americans. Some 47 percent consider themselves typical Americans while an equal proportion say that are very different. The answers of Hispanic immigrants differed from those of Latinos born in the USA.
