Un 25% de los oyentes de Pandora son hispanos
According to numbers from ComScore in June, 25% of the total of 76.4 million monthly unique visitors (MUV’s) of Pandora are Hispanic. That translates to an astounding nearly 19 million Hispanics. ComScore is not the only one that supports this. Nielsen company said in its recent study on the Hispanic market in the United States, Pandora streaming service is number one in the country among Latinos, with 39% of Hispanics who listen to it in a typical week.Another important point of interest is that this study showed that Latinos prefer to listen to Pandora through their mobile devices. “Our growth in Latin America is driven by our ability to reach the consumer in mobile and offer both Latino and non-Latino music,” Mike Reid, director of the multicultural department at Pandora, said. “Hispanics of second and third generation are increasingly influential in this country and therefore the proliferation of smartphones and technology really puts us in a good position with this consumer.”For several years, research has shown that Hispanics love their mobile devices. According to the report EExperians 2014 Hispanic Market Overview, Hispanics are 17% more likely than non-Hispanics to access the internet through their smartphone, Pandora then becomes an ideal service for this market.
