Harris Whitbeck, CEO of Zodiak Latino, said to PRODU that international markets are increasingly turning to the U.S. Hispanic market, and pointed out that Mundo Fox’s entry to U.S. free-TV has created opportunities for all channels to create high quality content.“There is much interest in the Hispanic market on the part of people of different countries and languages of origin. Mundo Fox’s entry to the U.S. free-TV market creates more opportunities for us. It motivates other networks to boost their efforts to refresh their screens and strengthen their offers,” said Whitbeck.The executive also said that markets such as Peru and Mexico are experiencing large growth, which results in partnership opportunities to co-produce with local companies.
