Bravas, a new YouTube Originals series, follows three friends, Mila (Audri Nix), Roja (Nohemy Aguilar), and Ashley (Amanda Antonella), who seek to find their place in the world.
They will learn that to overcome their past and make their way to the future they will have to unite their voices, whatever the cost may be. The eight-episode series was produced by Cinema Giants, director, and executive producer Jessy Terrero, with executive producer Natti Natasha. Bravas will premiere on October 7 at 3pm PT, on Natti Natasha’s YouTube channel.
Latin music is one of the most popular music genres in the world but has historically been a male-dominated genre and industry. From humble beginnings on the island of Puerto Rico, many male artists have become global music icons in recent years. Bravas takes place in the vibrant streets of Puerto Rico and narrates the experience of young female artists as they attempt to emerge from the same humble beginnings, but with the added pressure of society and in the shadows of their male counterparts.
Bravas features the participation of Latin musical legends and new rising stars such as Natti Natasha, Audri Nix, Wisin, Lyanno, Jon Z, Darkiel, and Daniel El Travieso, one of the top YouTube creators from Puerto Rico. Bravas will also feature an exclusive original soundtrack.
