Proyecto Ser Humano CNNE
CNN en Español launched its multi-platform anti-discrimination campaign called Proyecto Ser Humano (The Humanity Project).
Some of the personalities joining the campaign are: Mario Kreutzberger, International media icon, better known as “Don Francisco”; Emilio Estefan, renowned music, television and film producer who has been instrumental in paving the path for Latino artists including his wife, Gloria Estefan, as well as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer López, Marc Anthony and Jon Secada; Reyna Grande, Mexican American author and recipient of the 2015 Luis Leal Award for Distinction in Chicano/Latino Literature; Odilia Romero, indigenous rights activist; Mayor Francis Suárez, American attorney and the 33rd mayor of Miami; Eduardo Padrón, president of Miami Dade College (MDC); Modesto Lacén, Puerto Rican actor and, Marcelina Bautista, advocate for Domestic workers in Latin America.
