WarnerMedia Latin America is to broadcast the Oscars. Once again, the event will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
This edition comes in a new format: it will be more competitive than ever, as traditional movie studios will be joined by productions from streaming platforms. On the other hand, for the first time ever, the event will have three female hosts: actors Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, and performer, producer, and screenwriter Amy Schumer.
Latin artists will have a strong presence at this edition of the Oscars: they are nominated in a number of categories (best film, best actor, best actress, supporting actress, animated film, original score, original song, and animated short film). As a result, this new edition of the Oscars is a great opportunity to capture large audiences.
WarnerMedia for Brands offers some attractive business proposals for brands wishing to associate themselves with the Oscars, through an array of multiplatform alternatives throughout the company’s ecosystem, both before and during the event. Award shows have become a highly valuable advertising opportunity for brands, who know that this type of premium, high engagement content is bound to have a positive impact on their positioning.
The ceremony will air on TNT (Spanish) and TNT Series (original language), on Sunday, March 27, at 6pm (MEX) / 7pm (COL) / 9pm (ARG / CHI), with Ileana Rodríguez and Rafa Sarmiento. TNT coverage will start at 4:30pm (MEX) / 5:30pm (COL) / 7:30pm (ARG / CHI), with the pre-show Punto de Encuentro; Lety Sahagún and Axel Kuschevatzky will be on the red carpet, talking to the stars and celebrities present at the gala in Los Angeles.
The show will also feature an analysis of the nominees, potential winners, and every detail from the most awaited event in Hollywood. In Chile, the event will be available on CNN Chile, with a live transmission plus an in-depth analysis of a special show hosted by Viviana Encinas and Mónica Rincón.
Finally, the event will have substantial digital coverage before, during, and after the show, available on WarnerMedia Latin America’s brands’ Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter platforms.
