WarnerMedia LatAm announces General Entertainment’s leadership team

WarnerMedia Latin America announced the company’s new General Entertainment (GE) leadership team and structure following the integration of the regional Turner and HBO GE properties. 

The management announcement was made by Tomás Yankelevich, Chief Content Officer, GE, WarnerMedia Latin America.

Yankelevich’s new structure contemplates the breadth of the company’s diverse GE portfolio, including programming for basic, premium, D2C, and FTA brands; all linear and digital original production including films, scripted, unscripted, live events and sports; creative services; public relations; consumer and content marketing; and content acquisition.

The team will work across all WarnerMedia Latin America’s GE linear and digital offerings, including the premium HBO properties: HBO, HBO 2, HBO GO, HBO Family, HBO Pop, HBO Xtreme, HBO+, HBO Signature, and HBO Mundi; the basic Pay-TV properties: TNT, TNT Series, Space, Cinemax, Warner Channel, TCM, I.Sat, TBS, HTV, MuchMusic, Glitz and truTV; and the TNT Sports properties. In addition, the team will work on the upcoming regional content proposition of HBO Max, which is led by Johannes Larcher, Head of HBO Max International.

Mariano César has been named Head of Programming and Content Strategy for HBO Max Latin America; Gustavo Grossmann has been named Head of GE Networks; Ricardo “Richi” Pichetto continues as Head of Production, taking on expanded responsibilities across the combined GE portfolio. Pichetto also oversees unscripted development and execution of all sports production, in partnership with Fabio Medeiros (Leader of Sports Content).

Marcelo Tamburri continues as Head of Scripted Content Development, taking on expanded responsibilities across the combined GE portfolio.
Andrés Mendoza has been named Head of Content Acquisition & Negotiations.

Flavia Vígio has been named Head of Consumer Marketing and Public Relations.

Raúl Hernández has been named Head of Creative Services across the company’s unified regional GE portfolio.

Peter Bevan continues as Head of Particular Crowd, the company’s newest original movie banner which launched early last year.

Francisco Espinoza continues as Head of Programming for Chilevisión.
