For a fifth consecutive year, WAPA TV maintains the lead in Puerto Rico. Nielsen’s monthly survey for the period between March 15th and April 14th of this year confirms that WAPA captured over 50% of the 30 highest-rated shows in all demographics.The channel secured 17 of the top 30 audience spots per Households (HH). On Women 18-49, it got 16 of the best 30 shows. During the same period, the Men 18-49 results confirmed WAPA as the favorite, with 24 of the top 30 spots. On Adults 18-49, the channel prevailed with 19 out 30 programs.Monday through Friday on Households, WAPA had a 23.7% share, and on Women 18-49, it had 21.3%. Men 18-49 yielded a 24% share and Adults 18-49 brought in 22.4%.The list of top shows includes WAPA’s local programs such as Sunshine Remix, Risas en Combo, and Noticentro at 5pm, 10pm and 11pm; as well as the series CSI Las Vegas, Hawaii 5.0, Person of Interest, NCSI, Greys Anatomy, The Walking Dead, Law & Order and The Mentalist. Súper Cine, the movie block that airs Monday through Friday from 7 to 9pm also made the list.
