The 30-minute television special starring the Sesame Street Muppets will air on November 25th
Vme reflects on the large numbers of Americans who face hunger with a new special Todos Juntos Contra el Hambre (Growing Hope Against Hunger). This 30-minute television special starring the Sesame Street Muppets, produced by Sesame Workshop, will air on Friday, November 25 at 7:30pm.The special, made possible by the support of Walmart, presents families personal stories to raise awareness of the widespread issue of hunger in the United States and its impact on the Hispanic community. Todos Juntos Contra el Hambre also introduces a new Muppet named Lily, whose family has an ongoing struggle with hunger.While the holiday season brings such joy, it is also a time when our nations stark contrast between abundance and scarcity becomes most apparent. Vme is presenting this special to help elevate this important national issue and to help provide information and hope to our community that is disproportionally affected, said Carmen DiRienzo, president and CEO of Vme.
