Es Por Su Bien star Kate del Castillo alongside renowned comedian Consuelo Duval and multifaceted actress Monica Huarte
ViX announced that its new original movie, Es Por Su Bien, will premiere on June 21 on its premium plan. Consuelo Duval, Kate del Castillo, and Mónica Huarte star in the hilarious comedy that also features José Eduardo Derbez, Michael Ronda, and Sebastián García.
Es Por Su Bien marks the debut of acclaimed film and television personality Kate del Castillo in the Spanish-language comedy genre alongside renowned comedian Consuelo Duval and multifaceted actress Monica Huarte.
The original ViX film tells the story of three mothers, Clara (Consuelo Duval), Nena (Kate del Castillo), and Matis (Mónica Huarte) who do everything possible to prevent their children from being with the women they believe are the wrong partners for their “little ones.”
The cast includes Ana Sofia Gatica, Ana Gonzalez Bello, Farah Justiniani, Fernando Memije, and Victor Huggo Martin. Es Por Su Bien is produced by 3Pas Studios, the entertainment company founded by Eugenio Derbez and Ben Odell, who are also executive producers of the film.
Es Por Su Bien was written by Juan Carlos Garzón, directed by Alfonso Pineda, produced by Javier Williams, and produced by Visceral with Pablo Calasso also serving as executive producer. The comedy is based on the Spanish film written by Manuel Burque and Josep Gatell.
