As it’s customary every year, in the two weeks leading up to LA Screenings, VIP 2000 TV launches its contest for the industry. In this edition, the contest revolves around the wish tree of Cappadocia, the location where VIP 2000 TV’s first Turkish co-production with GoQuest Media, Kuma, La Otra Esposa, produced by Stellar Yapin in Turkey, begins.
“The idea of the contest is for everyone to make a wish for our audiovisual industry. Our contest is when we all come together as an industry – distributors, programmers, media, producers – during the two weeks leading up to LA Screenings. For VIP 2000 TV, sponsoring this contest with PRODU gives us great satisfaction because we feel that it’s the occasion when the entire industry comes together, and what better time than PRODU’s 35th anniversary to launch a contest where we express our wishes to grow our industry?” expressed Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV.
The winner will be chosen based on the post jointly made by VIP and PRODU, where wishes from participating executives will be received, and the one with the most likes will win.
“It seemed very fitting that alongside PRODU’s 35th anniversary, we launch this contest to send a message of hope. We already know that we are going through difficult and changing times, but there is a great future. We’re still here, content still has demand, and people want to see the content. How we reinvent ourselves is the challenge. Each executive will send their wish, and we will display it with a photo on the wish tree in Cappadocia. Also, in our suite at LA Screenings, we will have Turkish eyes so that visiting clients can take their photos with the wish they make. We always design the contest to be fun and serve as a moment of relaxation amidst so much work. Stay tuned to our PRODU social media channels,” explained Rosalind Rotundo, VP of VIP 2000 TV.
