ViendoMovies Dia Muertos
ViendoMovies announces its special programming for November 1st, the Day of the Dead.
ViendoMovies, a channel that commemorates the important dates of the Latino community, offers excellent programing in the spirit of this day. The Latino audience can appreciate a variety of high-profile successful movies, including high profile films from Mexico, and acclaimed movies from Spain, Colombia, among other countries.
From Mexico, the channel presents the comedy Mole de Olla. The story revolves around Chauita, a woman who is famous among her family and friends for preparing exceptional mole. For strange reasons, Chauita passes away and forces her family to unravel a series of incredible family secrets.
The programming then transitions to another comedy: La Brújula la Lleva el Muerto. An orphan boy leaves for the United States alone in search of his older brother. During the trip, an old man offers transport on his old wagon and in the middle of the trip, the old man dies. The boy tries to be guided by the compass in the old man’s hand, on his way the boy finds a series of curious characters that accompany him in the surrealist wagon.
Entre Sombras is a Mexican thriller based on the life of a couple. In a last attempt to solve their problems as a couple, Eric (Raúl Méndez) and Mari (Patricia Garza) make a road trip to the southeast Mexican jungle. When their luck seems to be changing, she disappears.
As the last chapter of Mexican cinematography, ViendoMovies presents En el Último Trago. Three octogenarian friends decide to make the last trip to fulfill their friend’s last wish. As expected, this trip includes picturesque situations, family disagreements and new relationships with characters that will change the way of thinking of all friends: “there is life after the 80s.”
ViendoMovies brings forth two successful Spanish comedies: Carmina y Amén and Quatretondeta.
To end the day, ViendoMovies will broadcast La Noche que mi Madre Mató a mi Padre (Spain), El Soborno del Cielo (Colombia), El Elefante Desaparecido (Peru), Papeles en el Viento (Argentina) and El País más Feliz del Mundo (Colombia).
