The fifth season of ¡Mira Quién Baila!, that will have its debut on the screen of Univision on September 17 at 8pm and is produced by Endemol Shine Latino and Univision Studios, will be a more difficult competition, with a solid and effective casting process, according to Adrián Santucho, EVP for Entertainment and Content at Univision Studios.

Santucho himself, when he worked at Endemol, presented this format to Univision.

“It is an expected return. In the next few days, we will start some very interesting online challenges to recruit our casting and defy who is willing to come dance on MQB, with a lot of surprises. We are working on a pool of international choreographers and a panel of expert juries never seen before” he expressed.

He added that they are working on the final stretch for Teletón 2017, which, for the first time will be held in October and not December. Additionally, it will be produced together with Mexico and called Estamos Unidos.

Santucho has already been at Univision nine months. “The first nine months have been amazing, much more than what I expected at a personal level. We often team up as a work machine and are generating many changes that are sometimes uncomfortable or intangible, but I think that in the mid-term they will render results. The team we’ve made with Lourdes Díaz, my boss, the president of Entertainment, has been essential. We are covering many flanks that are necessary to get to the next level” he ended.
