Univisión promoted Cuco Arias to VP and Executive Producer of the shows Sábado gigante and Don Francisco presenta, reporting directly to Ronald Day.Arias, who has been with Univisión since 1975, has been instrumental in the continued success of Sábado gigante and Don Francisco presenta.Cuco is well respected for his vision, leadership and work ethic. It would be difficult to list the many memorable events and achievements along Cucos successful career at Univisión. For example, 10 years ago he helped launch Don Francisco presenta, which offers entertainment and features special reports that increase the power of our community. He helped organize Unidos Haití in 2010, which rose over US$6 million for the Red Cross to assist the victims of the Haitian earthquake. He also leads the team of the longest-running variety show in Hispanic television history, Sábado gigante, said Luis Fernández, President of Entertainment of the network and Head of Univision Studios.
