Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) launched a new way for consumers to access Univision Now, Univision’s premier direct-to-consumer offering and Hispanic America’s only Spanish-language live streaming and on-demand subscription service. The Univision Now service is now available to consumers on the Roku platform.
“Our audiences expect a great digital experience from the brand they love,” commented Eric Ratchman, EVP of Content Distribution, UCI. “That’s why we are excited to launch our expanded Univision Now content on the Roku platform, one of the simplest ways to stream entertainment.”
The streaming service provides consumers with direct access to their favorite programming 24/7 whenever and wherever they want it. It also offers exclusive original content, an expansive Video on Demand (VOD) library, including 2,000 hours of content, live broadcasts of the Univision and UniMás networks, and 72-hour DVR functionality.
“Univision is one of the premiere destinations for Spanish language programming serving Hispanic America,” said Ed Lee, VP of Content Acquisition, Roku. “Now, through the Univision Now channel on the Roku platform, their amazing selection of content will be available to millions of Roku users and we’re extremely excited to have partnered with them on this endeavor.”
