Univision Communications Inc. has announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018.
Univision Communications reported a decrease of total revenue and an increase in net income as part of its Q2 2018 financial results.
The total revenue for the company decreased 2.0% to US$749.8 million from US$764.9 million while total core revenue decreased 3.1% to US$730.3 million from US$753.5 million.

While our foundation is strong, Univision has gone through a significant amount of change over the last few months. We are starting an exciting new chapter with a singular focus on our core business and mission: to inform, entertain and empower Hispanic America,” commented Vincent Sadusky, CEO of Univision.
The company also mentioned “during the third quarter of 2018, as part of an overall strategic review, the company initiated a process to explore the sale of the Gizmodo Media Group and The Onion.”
