Univision appoints Carlos Bardasano Jr. as VP of Original Content and Andrés Mendoza VP of Programming & Strategy for UniMás

Carlos Bardasano Jr. is being appointed VP of Original Content and will lead alternative content and productions for Univision´s entertainment arm. Most recently he led programming and content at UniMás. He earned a Master of Science degree in Television Management from Boston University.Also, Andrés Mendoza is being named VP of Programming & Strategy for UniMás. He will oversee all programming, production and strategy for the broadcast network. Mendoza joined Univision in 2012 working as a senior analyst and a Business Operations manager for Noticias Univisión and since this past October, the executive has been working closely with Albetro Ciurana, president, Programming & Content, in the areas of Programming Planning and Strategy for entertainment across all platforms. Mendoza was part of the team that helped launch Fusion and more recently he has been part of the development team that has created new shows and alternative series for UniMás. In addition, for the entertainment team he has played a key role on very important projects such as the World Cup and Teletón. Mendoza holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Venezuela.
