Univision Network and Warner Music announced their collaboration around the television show, Va Por Ti, with the winner receiving a recording deal with Warner. Univision Network successfully launched Va Por Ti on September 7th, reaching 5.8 million viewers on premiere night and was the No. 1 reality series on social media across all English and Spanish-language networks. The winner of the competition will be announced December 7th during the show finale. “At Univision we take pride in forging the next generation of Hispanic talent – from actors to presenters to singers. This new partnership with Warner Music for Va Por Ti raises the competitive stakes even higher, and further elevates our commitment to properly launch the winners of our reality programs,” said Alberto Ciurana, president of Programming and Content, Univision Communications, Inc. “The wealth of talent that is being exposed and cultivated through the Va Por Ti competition is remarkable. Warner Music is thrilled to partner with Univision to offer the winner a recording deal, and we can’t wait to see who will emerge victorious,” commented Iñigo Zabala, president, Warner Music Latin America. Hosted by TV personality Galilea Montijo, Va Por Ti is a co-production of Televisa and Univision.
