Universal reality, part of NBCUniversal’s new Universal+ premium channel package, premieres the Brazilian reality show Juju Boot Camp, its first original production in the region, next Tuesday the 15th at 9pm.
Throughout 12 episodes, 22 women with inspiring life stories face each other in a boot camp that will challenge their limits. They will be led by Juju Salimeni, a renowned Brazilian fitness influencer and queen of the Brazilian Carnival, with more than 16 million followers.
For Juju the audience will identify themselves with the life stories of the participants. During a virtual press conference that took place on Women’s Day, she said she was very excited about the show, since It will allow her to earn recognition in other Latin American countries and take her message to the entire region.
The show also includes the actress and crossfit expert, Naty Graciano, along with the sprinter and Olympic athlete, Evelyn dos Santos; and the actress, athlete, and fitness model, Vivi Alves, who will help and encourage the participants with her own stories of self-improvement.
Each chapter will include challenges regarding strength, fashion and nutrition, among other things, and special guests.
During the virtual press conference, Universal+ executives announced that this year they have several productions planned that will be released only on premium channels and that they are always looking for programming that promotes diversity, equity and equality in the region to enhance female empowerment.
