TV Azteca: We incorporated Alberto Ciurana to the team

Alberto Ciurana is the new person responsible for Television and Content Distribution at TV Azteca, in charge of programming, operation, and production of TV Azteca´s channels, according to a statement made by the company.

“The achievements we have made in these two years are only the beginning. Approaching the future, we are taking the next step: it is time to evolve. We will continue to grow and capitalize social and technological changes, as well as the revaluation of open TV as the main massive communication and marketing media,” expressed Benjamín Salinas, CEO of TV Azteca, to whom Ciurana will report directly.

Ciurana marked his return to the industry in 2016 when he founded DT Consulting, a company whose aim is advising TV networks in Latin America and Europe on monetizing digital platforms.

Salinas thanked Mauricio Majul Gabriel and Rodrigo Fernández Capdevielle, director of the channels Azteca Uno and Azteca 7, respectively for their work. “Their leadership, vision, and commitment have been fundamental in the success TV Azteca has achieved in the last years and they will continue to be part of the Salinas Group with new and relevant responsibilities.”
