TV Azteca presented its new episodic series, Mujeres, Rompiendo el Silencio (150×60’), to be launched on Monday, March 13 at 7pm on Azteca 13. The production is under the responsibility of Elisa Salinas and Rafael Uriostegui, who stated that it is an evolution of Lo que Callamos las Mujeres, with a team of seven writers.
“This is a program of ours that opened a new window 17 years ago and is today a social change platform that has grown to the point that we have been recognized internationally. The formula of this content has been successful in every sense. The program evolves. It has nothing to do with the TV format, but with how women have changed and how we perceive ourselves. That is why each broadcast invites us to live true to who we are,” expressed Salinas.
In international sales, the producer highlighted that they will continue what they did with Lo que Callamos las Mujeres, which has been sold to more than 139 countries, both the content and the scripts, according to the requirements of each country.
“We have made original content for Chile, Spain, Germany, and Bulgary. We visit each market and conduct research of their issues, generating an average of 10 to 15 specific episodes for each one. The client takes a big package of what he is shooting. We also offer them the possibility of buying the scripts. We have made scripts upon request, as well,” she added.
To end, she defined this broadcast as “the best structured project I have done in my life. It is entertaining content that appeals the advertiser and sells.”
