David Limón, producer
Abandonados and La Isla 2016 are two of TV Aztecas bets on realities for its channel Azteca 7. That is what the producer of both programs, David Limón, expressed. He highlighted that they are aiming to strengthen their grid with international quality formats. Abandonados is a format that changed our production style, but we managed to turn it into a big project. It is the Mexican version of Pekin Express, where eight couples have to survive with a minimum amount of money daily, traveling through four countries and earning medals that will get them more money, he explained. He announced that when this reality ends on screen, they will start airing La Isla, a product we completely renovated, including disembarking on new beaches and an ending that we’ll shoot live in November. The goal is to surprise both participants and the audience that has followed us for four editions.
