Time Warner Cable premieres two behind-the-scenes unscripted series for the Lakers in English and Spanish

Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes are launching two new series giving viewers unscripted behind-the-scenes looks at the season as it unfolds. Backstage: Lakers (Lakers Confidencial in Spanish) and Laker Girls will air Oct. 1. “The Lakers have given us unprecedented access to take viewers where they typically aren’t allowed, which is exactly what we envisioned when we decided to launch these networks” said David Rone, president of Time Warner Cable Sports. “These initial series, ‘Backstage: Lakers’ and ‘Laker Girls,’ represent that vision.”
