The Mediapro Studio US and Canada, led by Juan “JC” Acosta, has welcomed two notable Hollywood executives, Erika Kennair (known for The Flight Attendant) and Pam Healey (known for First Dates), to head its Fiction and Unscripted Content divisions, respectively.
Additionally, Ari Tan, previously responsible for Strategy at Paramount International Studios, will now lead Strategy and Operations. Robert Haiat, who was SVP of Business Development at Paramount Global and CBS Corporation, will take charge of the Commercial area.
Two existing executives from within the company will also join this new division: Leslie Cohen will continue as Head of Global Acquisitions, and Juan Pablo Santos will remain as SVP of Content for the US Hispanic market.
These strategic hires align with the vision announced by Laura Fernández Espeso, CEO of The Mediapro Studio, focusing on the creation, production, and distribution of English-language content across various genres. This includes series, films, documentaries, formats, and entertainment programs for the North American market and global distribution.
“It is an honor to welcome this group of exceptional professionals to the executive team of The Mediapro Studio US and Canada. Their extensive experience, creative vision, and profound expertise in the audiovisual sector make them the ideal leaders to ensure the success of our ambitious strategic plan. Without a doubt, this team will drive The Mediapro Studio US and Canada to success by delivering outstanding content to our partners and audiences,” expressed Acosta.
