“Watching these athletes conquer these insurmountable obstacles is exciting! By delivering a Spanish-language narration for this fan-favorite show, TeleXitos will offer a new and unique watching experience that will have our viewers on the edge of their seats,” said Bárbara Alfonso, director of TeleXitos.
American Gladiators, the early 1990’s original athletic competition, ran for seven seasons in syndication from 1989 to 1996. Hosted by Mike Adamle, the show featured amateur athletes competing against each other and against a line-up of athletes known as the American Gladiators.
All contenders participated in several events that tested strength and agility culminating in a final obstacle known as The Eliminator. The series spurred an international version of the competition as well as a reboot of the series. To date, American Gladiators remains a classic that has helped to inspire various athletic competition shows.
