Eduardo Suárez, producer of the second season of the game show ¿Cuál es el Bueno?, broadcast Monday through Friday at 8pm on Channel 5 of TelevisaUnivision, talked about the challenges of this format in a time when contest content predominates on TV.
“It is an entertainment show with a lot of humor. It is not what you usually see, with a formula that seeks to unite the family. It is an interactive contest program where the audience or anyone watching us can win money and have two hours of entertainment with his family. The formula of this content is the show itself, the entertainment, and the comedy of our host, Facundo,” he commented.
For Suárez, open TV is experiencing a good moment thanks to the success of content such as Me Caigo de Risa, which he produced, and La Casa de los Famosos México, with high ratings during its first season. “Scheduling the premiere at a time of great strength on TV was planned from the beginning of the year. It is a well-planned strategy, and ¿Cuál es el Bueno? is a great proposal to fill a hot space left by Me Caigo de Risa.”
In ¿Cuál es el Bueno? (Which is the Good One?) three people, called Fakers, arrive on stage bragging about having a talent, a job, a feature, or something else, but two are lying. It can also be objects that appear to be something they are not. For example, three notebooks look like notebooks, but two can be cakes or chocolates.
The second season of ¿Cuál es el Bueno? is developed and produced by TelevisaUnivision and EndemolShine Boomdog.
