Televisa: We are driving the development of Pequeños Gigantes in the U.S. and Europe

The division of Formatos de Televisa (Televisa’s Formats), which has been active for six years, continues to generate successful entertainment programs for diverse targets. “We select titles that have the strength to be released to international markets, and we add them to the catalog. Just in that we find products that cover different necessities: telenovelas, entertainment programs, reality shows and opportunities for branded entertainment” said José Luis Romero, director of Formats and Development of New Content. With this strategy, the division has made it possible for Televisa’s formats to be produced locally in East and Central Europe, in Latin America and Asia. “At the moment, the main objective is to “drive the growth of Pequeños Gigantes for its local production in Europe and the U.S.” Romero added. The format of the program, which will be presented at Mipcom, is an entertainment reality show in which children between the ages of 4 and 12 show off their singing, dancing, acting and comedy talents.
