Lo Imperdonable (12×60′) is the title of Salvador Mejía’s new production for Televisa that will start being filmed at the end of February in San Luis Potosí, Mexico and will replace Hasta el Fin del Mundo in the 9:20pm schedule on El Canal de las Estrellas. In an interview for PRODU, the producer offered details of what will be this story, a remake of La Mentira, produced in 1998 by Carlos Sotomayor and written by Caridad Bravo Adams, now with the adaptation of Ximena Suárez.”At the end of February we will begin filming this story, in which passion, love, secrets, and revenge are the main bets. The cast is headed by Ana Brenda Contreras and Iván Sánchez, and will have different locations in San Luis Potosí,” he said.Mejía highlighted that for 15 years his stories have been broadcast on primetime, and now again, which is why Lo Imperdonable will replace Hasta el Fin del Mundo, produced by Nicandro Díaz: “It’s a very important schedule and currently very competed, but this year we are betting on taking a great product.”It is worth mentioning that the first version of La Mentira was for cinema in 1952, starring Marga López, while Televisa did it as a telenovela for the first time in 1965, under the production of Ernesto Alonso.
