Televisa presented the seventh edition of La Voz… México, to be launched on October 15, which will have Laura Pausini, Yuri, Maluma and Carlos Vives as coaches. Jacqueline Bracamontes will be the host and it will have a strong display of digital content.
The producer Miguel Ángel Fox, stated that this year they will have innovations in the set and he highlighted that it is one of the few formats that has remained seven seasons among the audience´s preference.
“There will be ten programs, five of which will be dedicated to auditions, and as every year, we will refresh the content and our set, that is now entirely circular. Including La Voz Kids, this is one of the formats that have lasted longest on TV, although we have had some with bigger audiences than others, we try to please our audience,” mentioned Fox.
He took the opportunity to confirm the suspension of shootings for La Voz Kids, assuring that the decision was made by Televisa´s legal department, in the light of this edition´s coach, the singer Julión Alvarez´s possible relation with drug pushing.
“For us, it is very difficult to discard all the programs we have already filmed, but we are analyzing when we can open auditions once again and look for new coaches. We had never been through something like this, and are looking for ways to resume the project,” he added.
