In response to the demand for content on digital platforms, Televisa presented the digital strategy of their new telenovela Antes Muerta que Lichita, which for the first time will have 16 native content platforms on the Internet and multiscreen. It is the first project in Latin America with these features.“This telenovela is a product for open broadcast TV, created 100% for digital users. It is the first telenovela that is entirely media content. It is aimed mainly at millennials and each application is designed to target a specific audience”, described Montserrat Gómez, director of Digital Strategy at Televisa, to PRODU.The project has generated great expectations, since its structure is also designed to reduce the digital gap, offering tutorials to viewers who are not native digitals so they can use the program´s applications. It will be comprised of 16 platforms where contents will be distributed and there will be interactions, including digital tests, contents for children, fan art dynamic and promotions, second screen app, etc. “It is the first time that from the inception of the project, platform contents have been thought of. These include tutorials, webnovela blogs, digital posts, game with native apps for Android and iOS”, she highlighted.
