Televisa: Adal, El Show joins TV contents made according to the new multiplatform consumption mechanisms

After eight years of the last broadcast of the program Otro Rollo, produced and hosted by Adal Ramones, the comedian returns to the screen of Televisa with Adal, El Show, which will have a strong digital presence. The last Saturday of each month one program will be aired, starting August 29th at 10:30pm on El Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico.Ramones said he was aware that in eight years TV viewer’s consumption mechanisms had changed, and now digital platforms are fundamental, which is why the program will seek support there to offer differentiated contents. “With Otro Rollo we achieved many things, so we would like to take risks with new ones, such as the title of the program. Eight years have gone by and we know ratings are not going to be like the ones in the past. What we did then is not going to happen again, because TV changed, the moment it is going through now is very difficult and TV stations worldwide also changes, there was this big boom of social networks and apps, so now we are adapting to create a relevant digital strategy”, he highlighted.He announced that in 2015 a monthly, one-hour program will be broadcast, totalling five, while in 2016, they will air two programs per month.Adal, El Show will be comprised by monologues, sketches, challenges, musicals, interviews, as well as exclusive content for the Internet, such as a reality posted five days before the launch of the program, behind- the-cameras, bloopers, live broadcast, among others.
