Last Thursday night’s broadcast of Telemundo’s 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards delivered 2,371,000 Total Viewers and 1,185,000 Adults 18-49, according to Nielsen.
Fueled by the show, Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network during primetime last night among Total Viewers (2,143,000) and Adults 18-49 (1,046,000).
Hosted by internationally acclaimed actress Kate del Castillo and renowned actor, singer, songwriter and TV host Carlos Ponce, the awards show reached a cumulative audience of 4,927,000 Total Viewers, including 2,516,000 Adults 18-49 with the simulcast broadcast on Telemundo and Universo. Preceding the main show La Alfombra de los Premios Billboard delivered 1,449,000 among Total Viewers and 628,000 Adults 18-49.
On social media, the show ranked as the #1 most social non-sports program of the day across all broadcast and cable networks on Thursday, April 27. On the day of the show, the Premios Billboard Facebook page reached 13,000,000 global users and generated 6,500,000 global views.
