Ricardo Coeto, EVP of Production at Telemundo Studios
Telemundo Studios currently has four undergoing projects: The fifth season of El Señor De Los Cielos, Señora Acero 4, Jenni Rivera: Mariposa De Barrio and they will soon start with De Pura Cepa, as well as the musical series El Príncipe, about the life of José José, that they are making with Estudios Teleméxico.
“What has distinguished Telemundo products most from the rest is care and risk and we are trying to risk more and to be more careful about the product. That is what we are focused on now” commented enthusiastic Ricardo Coeto, EVP of Production at Telemundo Studios.
Regarding Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio, the first musical bioseries produced by Telemundo Studios, Coeto stated it was a very big challenge, among other things because they changed some aspects of the studio dynamics in order to carry out the project. “We are very proud of the product we have. We are trying to be as realistic as possible, regarding Jenni´s life and the events that marked this character” he commented.
He highlighted that there is a big professional team at Telemundo Studios that gets fully involved with the projects “and that shows and is felt on the screen of Telemundo,” he ended.
