Ignacio Serricchio, star of Telemundo Internacional Studios’ (T IS) El Recluso, was one of the Telemundo talents that walked on NBCUniversal’s 2018 Upfront red carpet at the Radio City Music Hall in New York and who was in charge of the presentation of the political thriller Prisionero Número Uno.
“El Recluso TIS’ first production. I am super happy to participate in this series that is going to launch this new campaign of super high-quality original productions,” said Serricchio.
María Celeste Arrarás, journalist, and host of Al Rojo Vivo, highlighted her project, El Secreto de Selena. “For two decades, I had wanted to bring my book El Secreto de Selena, which has become a best seller, to the screen. The project is being produced as a miniseries that will be aired by Telemundo. For me it is very exciting because, aside from being the writer of the book, I am one of the executive producers and I work with the team of writers to adapt the book to the TV script,” she explained.
Andrés Cantor, the narrator of the World Cup for Telemundo Deportes, mentioned that they will have 500 hours of live broadcast, plus 1,500 hours of digital coverage. “It will be a World Cup with unprecedented coverage in the history of US Hispanic TV”.
The actress Aracely Arámbula was thrilled because it is the first time she will be participating with two projects in the Upfront: the second season of MasterChef Latino and the second of La Doña
“I feel honored and blessed to be in the fifth season of Señora Acero,” said Carolina Miranda, star of the series and she added that “A 360º change is on the way”.
