Telemundo Promotes Susan Solano Vila to Executive Vice President of Marketing

Telemundo announced that Susan Solano Vila has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Marketing for Telemundo Communications Group. Solano Vila will report to Jacqueline Hernández, Chief Operating Officer.In her new role, Solano Vila will be responsible for the full scope of marketing activities across the Telemundo network and mun2, overseeing strategy that will drive consumer awareness, audience engagement and ratings, she will also work closely with the Telemundo senior management team. In addition, she will serve as a key liaison to all marketing divisions of NBC Universal.The network also announced that Joanna Popper has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing for Telemundo. In this role, Popper will oversee off-air marketing, digital marketing strategy, Licensing, Merchandising, and East Coast marketing initiatives. Her focus will be on driving ratings and revenue opportunities through marketing. She will report to Solano Vila.
