Telemundo news shows on track to deliver best season ever

Telemundo announced its news properties Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste, Noticiero Telemundo, Un Nuevo Día and Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart are on track to deliver their best season ever among Total Viewers this 2013- 2014 broadcast season, according to Nielsen.The daily news and entertainment magazine Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste is averaging a total audience of 1,126,000 viewers for a +12% growth vs. past season and 449,000 Adults18 to 49 for a +4% growth. Telemundo’s flagship national newscast, Noticiero Telemundo anchored by María Celeste Arrarás and José Díaz-Balart, is averaging 838,000 Total Viewers for a +9% growth vs. past season and 338,000 Adults 18 to 49 for a 2% growth.Telemundo’s morning show Un Nuevo Día is averaging 209,000 Total Viewers for a +10% growth vs. past season and 96,000 Adults 18 to 49 for a +13% growth vs. past season.Telemundo’s Sundays current affairs show Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart is averaging 172,000 Total Viewers for a +9% growth vs. past season and 83,000 Adults 18 to 49 viewers for a +11% growth vs. past season.Recently, Telemundo announced an expansion of its news programs with the launch of several local newscasts and the introduction of Noticias Telemundo Fin de Semana, a weekend newscast to be anchored by Edgardo del Villar starting Saturday, October 4.
