Aside from the new programming that Telemundo Media announced at its press conference in New York City on Monday, May 14, the network has secured deals for three additional shows: La Boda de tus sueños, La Voz: Niños and Todos somos heroes. These new programs sum up Telemundos original programming to almost 900 hours, representing an increase of more than 40 percent in new content. This season we are presenting our most ambitious original programming slate ever, a testament to our commitment to produce the most relevant Spanish-language content for the largest Hispanic audience possible said Emilio Romano, president of Telemundo Media. Fueled by our record-breaking performance and the support of Comcast and NBCUniversal, together with a leading team of executives, our mission is to become the number one Hispanic media company in the US and the leading producer of Spanish-language content in the world. The new programming announced Monday includes six telenovelas, two daytime shows and a reality competition. The new telenovelas are El rostro de la venganza, El señor de los cielos, La patrona, Pasión prohibida, Nace un idolo and Fina estampa. The daytime programs are Cuauhtemoc and Virgen morena and the reality competition is titled Yo me llamo.
