Telemundo Denver/KDEN has promoted Pamela Padilla to News anchor, effective immediately. Padilla, who joined Telemundo Denver in February 2015 as a Multimedia journalist, is a passionate story-teller who has reported the Denver metro areas most impactful news, including the Aurora Theater Shooting trial, the story of Arturo Hernández living in a local Denver-area church for more than six-months and the Republican Presidential Debate at the University of Colorado-Boulder.In her role, she will join co-anchor Guillermo Martínez and Sports anchor Carlos Rausseo, on Noticiero Telemundo Denver at 4:30pm, 5pm and 10pm, to deliver local breaking news and information to Spanish-speaking viewers throughout the Denver metro area.Pamela is an outstanding journalist who has made countless contributions to our news team and were very excited that she, along with Guillermo Martínez and Carlos Rausseo, will continue to deliver the local breaking news and information that our communities demand and deserve, said Pedro Calderón Michel, News director for Telemundo Denver.
