Telemundo 51 Fresno/KNSO debuts first-ever local newscast Noticiero Telemundo Valle Central

Vanessa Ramírez-Ávila has been named News anchor/executive producer for Noticiero Telemundo Valle Central

Telemundo 51 Fresno/KNSO announced that it’s first-ever local newscast –Noticiero Telemundo Valle Central –began airing on Tuesday, September 1st. The one-hour Spanish-language newscast will air on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 5:30pm to 6:30pm PT and it will deliver news and information for Spanish-speaking viewers in Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Visalia and all throughout the central California region. Vanessa Ramírez-Ávila has been named News anchor/executive producer for Noticiero Telemundo Valle Central. The local newscast is produced locally in partnership with Nexstar Broadcasting Group stations in Fresno, KGPE-TV CBS, KSEE-TV NBC and KGET-TV NBC and Telemundo in Bakersfield.“We are thrilled that Telemundo Fresno’s one-hour local weekday newscast will fill the void that exists in the market and finally give viewers a choice for receiving their local news. Telemundo 51 Fresno is owned by NBCUniversal and operated by Serestar Corporation.
