Star Contents, the company that distributes the contents from the production company 11:11 Films & TV, announced the production Porfirio Rubirosa (12×60’), based on the life of the man considered the first Latin-American Latin lover, which will be available in Latin America through Claro Video in the middle of 2018.
Juan Antonio Fernández, Head of the Distribution company, assured that the shooting of the first season began last December in the Dominican Republic, and that there are already several channels interested in the product.
“We have shown many channels this series, starring Manolo Cardona, and they are impressed with its quality. It is currently in post-production. Later, we will take it to the pan-regional screen, then to the US and the rest of the world,” he mentioned.
The story revolves around the life of this character (Porfirio Rubirosa) who becomes an agent on which James Bond films are inspired since he is also considered a Latin lover and a superhero. The executive added that they are presenting this production in international markets, as well as the first and second delivery of La Hermandad, which, he announced, will have a third season.
